Creative Art Expressions

Classes can be scheduled as individual 1:1 sessions for 2 hours each, or in 2 hour group sessions, of a 4 week class.

Creative Art Expression
$50 each per class
Individually or in a group, we explore what sparks the creative imagination with laughter and fun. Anything goes from puppetry to painting to sculpture.
In the Style of.....
6 weeks $225/each
Creative expression classes are a potpourri of lessons taught "in the Style of...."
We explore various art forms such as weaving, spinning, collage, painting , sculpture and art history as we discover the styles of various artists, such as Madigliani, Judy Chicago, Manashe Kadishman, Louise Nevelson and more.

Fibers
6 weeks $225/each
In this class, we will explore fibers....Weaving, spinning, felting. We will spend 2 weeks on each of the techniques.
Class size: 1-3 students.
Working with Seniors
Sublime Happiness
$125/2 hour session
Participants explore the sublime happiness
of their lives through discussion and
sharing. This happiness is written and
woven into a group tapestry. Further
attention is given to the exploration of the movement of expressing happiness and creating cloth dolls that are added to the tapestry.
Class size: 8 with assistants provided by facility

Prisms of Memory
$125/2 hour session
This offering is an ongoing process where participants explore memories, sometimes hidden in secret recesses of the mind. The end product, a work of visual art, is an outgrowth of the true art, that of living and remembering a life lived.

Felting and Fibers

Using the techniques of felting and weaving, we explore the joys of wool and fibers as we create unique works of art suitable for exhibiting .
